Keanu Reeves on returning as boogeyman in John Wick: Chapter 4: 'After eight years of playing the role, that was really special'

The wait is finally over! Fans can get ready for a mega-blockbuster to hit the theatres as early as 24th March 2023. One of the biggest duos - Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski are back with John Wick: Chapter 4! The actor-director force has established a franchise that has been soaring for eight years and three successful runs, yet, the fourth instalment has been predicted to be even bigger than the previous ones. In the new chapter, Keanu Reeves as the indestructible hitman will be seen taking a fight against the High Table as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld.

Talking about his favourite scene from John Wick: Chapter 4, lead actor Keanu Reeves A.K.A John Wick said, “After eight years of playing the role … that was really special. And also just making the film after a few years, coming back to see Ian McShane and Laurence [Fishburne] and to work with Chad Stahelski again — it’s almost like the beginning, like the alpha and the omega and everything in between.”

Sharing his favourite moment from the sets, director Chad Stahleski added, “For me it was the first day Keanu came on set. He had the suit back on and it was the first time we were back together in three years. So it was pretty special.”

Directed by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Chapter 4 will feature old and new cast members, including Donnie Yen as Caine, Bill Skarsgård as Marquis, Laurence Fishburne as Bowery King, Rina Sawayama as Akira, Ian McShane as Winston, Shamier Anderson as Tracker, Hiroyuki Sanada as Shimazu, Clancy Brown as The Harbinger, Lance Reddick as Charon, and Scott Adkins as Killa.

Lionsgate and PVR Pictures will release John Wick: Chapter 4 in theaters on 24th March 2023 in India. This is a direct sequel to the 2019 film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and will be the longest film in the Keanu Reeves series.
