The heart of Miss Night and Day revolves around Lee Mi Jin, played by both Lee Jung Eun and Jung Eun ji in a fascinating two-in-one role. Lee Mi-jin is a determined job seeker who has been battling the gruelling civil service exam for a staggering eight years. The stress of the endless job hunt takes an unexpected turn when she wakes up one day to find herself inexplicably aged 30 years overnight.

This bizarre phenomenon presents a unique opportunity for Lee Mi Jin. Seizing the moment, she applies for a senior internship position, a role typically reserved for individuals with extensive experience. To everyone's surprise, she lands the job.

Lee Jung Eun will embody Lee Mi Jin in her 50s, showcasing the seasoned wisdom and grace that comes with age. Jung Eun Ji, on the other hand, will bring to life Lee Mi-jin's 20s, capturing the youthful energy and vibrancy of that period.

The story also delves into the complexities of navigating the Korean job market, particularly the immense pressure associated with the civil service exam. Lee Mi Jin's eight-year struggle resonates with many viewers who have faced similar challenges in their own career pursuits.
