Hollywood actor Harrison Ford returns as the legendary hero archaeologist in the highly anticipated fifth installment of the iconic Indiana Jones franchise, which is directed by James Mangold. The trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was unveiled on Friday.
In the new installment, Ford reprises the iconic role after around 15 years. The movie is the sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The trailer shows a de-aged Ford ready to whip up the Nazis again. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the new cast member who plays the goddaughter of Indiana Jones. Mads Mikkelsen plays the role of a Nazi employed by NASA whereas Antonio Banderas is Jones’ all. The trailer has giant horses, motorcycle action scenes and more action.
Starring along with Ford are John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore and Mads Mikkelsen. Directed by James Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ in 1981, is once again composing the score.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will release in theatres on June 30 2023 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
