Dr. Romantic 3: Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung starrer to premiere on April 28 on Disney+

South Korean medical drama Dr. Romantic 3’s makers have officially announced the premiere date for the third season which will debut next month!

According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, on March 27, a representative of Dr. Romantic 3 shared that the drama will premiere on April 28 at 10:00 p.m. KST as the follow-up to Taxi Driver 2. Season 3 will tell the story of Doldam Hospital after becoming independent from a giant foundation at the end of Season 2.

Dr. Romantic is a medical drama that follows the stories of doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside. The drama features a star-studded cast of Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, and Jung Ji Ahn.

The drama will be helmed by director Yoo In Sik, from a screenplay written by writer Kang Eun Kyung. Earlier this month, the makers also unveiled a warm teaser poster for the upcoming third season that features Han Suk Kyu back as Dr. Kim, sitting in his office at Doldam Hospital, wearing a warm smile.

The caption reads, as translated by the Korean tabloid Soompi, “Hoping that [we] can be of comfort once again to those who have lost their way…” The poster also confirms that the new season will be aired on Disney+ this time. The first two seasons are currently available on Netflix.

Dr. Romantic 3 is currently slated to premiere on April 28, 2023.
