Earlier this week, a Hollywood actor urged fans to not share leaked photos from the sets of Deadpool 3 starring Hugh Jackman. A major spoiler was leaked in those photos due to which Reynolds has now fought back by sharing doctored photos from the sets of the movie.
Ryan Reynolds took to social media to share photoshopped pictures to show Deadpool around with Mickey Mouse (and moneybags), Predator, and Urkel. "Deadpool began with a leak," Reynolds wrote on X, the networking site formerly named Twitter. "So I'm joining in. But PLEASE don't overuse the phrase, 'Deadpool Leaks' because it might screw up search results if anyone is looking for Deadpool leaks or Deadpool spoilers or perhaps, Deadpool Scoops."

A day prior to these photoshopped pictures, the actor took to Instagram to pen a note. "Surprises are part of the magic of theatrical movies," he wrote. "It's important for us to shoot the new Deadpool film in real, natural environments, using practical effects as opposed to making movies indoors and digitally. Telephoto lenses continue to spoil surprises and create a difficult situation for everyone."
"Here's hoping some of the websites and social channels hold back showing images before they're ready," he continued. "The film is built for audience joy — and our highest hope is to preserve as much of that magic as possible for the finished film and the big screen. Part of the reason people post spoilers is because they're excited. I realize these aren't real-world issues and it's firmly in the 'good problems' bucket. I love making this movie.”
The upcoming film stars Ryan Reynolds, with Wolverine star Hugh Jackman reprising his role. Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna are returning in addition to Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic and Rob Delaney. Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen are the new cast members. Jennifer Garner is also reprising her role of Elektra after 20 years.
Jennifer Garner first played the role in 20th Century Fox’s 2003 feature film Daredevil which starred Ben Affleck. However, she was also headlining the spin-off.
Deadpool 3 is being produced by Marvel’s Kevin Feige, director Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds. The script is by Reynolds, Levy, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells. Deadpool 3 will be released on July 26, 2024.
