Citadel: Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden team up on a quest for truth in new gripping teaser; watch

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden are joining forces on a quest for truth in a new gripping teaser for their upcoming spy-thriller series Citadel, directed by Russo Brothers.

The new teaser opens with Stanley Tucci’s spymaster stating, “everything you know is a lie.” followed by a montage highlighting the contrasting personalities of Chopra Jonas and Madden's characters who embark on a joint mission.

The series follows the two spies whose memories have been wiped out after the spy agency, Citadel, they worked for was betrayed by outside forces. Citadel is already greenlit for Season 2 while an Italian and Indian spin-off are currently in development.

Citadel casts Madden as Mason Kane, Chopra-Jonas as Nadia Khan, Tucci as Bernard Orlick, Lesley Manville as Dahlia Archer, Osy Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashleigh Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Møller as Anders Silje, Caoilinn Springall as Hendrix Conroy along with Davik Silje.

Citadel is executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil. The 6-episode series features Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville in pivotal roles. This thrilling spy series, which takes viewers around the world, will premiere exclusively on Prime Video starting April 28 with two episodes. New episodes will roll out weekly through May 26.
