Korean Hip Hop artist Bryan Chase is back with a new single, ‘Show Must Go On’, featuring Korean-American rapper pH-1. The emotionally driven track is his first release under Universal Music Korea, with whom he officially signed last week. The song is also his first in nearly two years.

Produced by Kush, a prominent figure from THE BLACKLABEL, the track delves into the highs and lows of life and the determination to keep moving forward despite setbacks. Both artists reflect this sentiment in their statements, offering a glimpse into the motivation behind the collaboration. “No matter what – the show must go on,” said Bryan Chase. “Through all the ups and downs, the show must go on,” added pH-1.

Known for his ability to fuse hip hop and R&B, Bryan Chase debuted in 2015 with Lost in the City Part.1 and rose to prominence as part of the influential Korean hip hop collective, Cohort. In 2016, the release of The Last Orcas marked a significant moment in the group's career, with several tracks — including “Let Us Prey,” “Walkin (Remix),” and “Underwater Bank” — gaining international traction after being released through 88rising. These tracks have collectively crossed over 10 million views on YouTube.

Bryan Chase has been recognized for his versatility and melodic delivery, earning a reputation as a significant voice in Seoul’s underground rap scene. Early tracks like ‘No Flex Zone (Remix)’ introduced him to wider audiences, and collaborations with fellow Cohort members Okasian and Keith Ape further cemented his presence in Korea’s hip hop landscape. Over the years, he has worked with notable artists including Taeyang on ‘Nightfall’ and U.S. rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on ‘2U’.

Speaking about his new chapter with Universal Music Korea, Bryan Chase said, “Joining UMG is an incredible honor. We’ve built this from the ground up with love and belief in the music. Now with this partnership, we’re ready to share our sound with the world. This is a new beginning and we’re expecting great things ahead.”

Earlier this year, he featured on ‘LOV3’, a track from Sik-K and Lil Moshpit’s March 2025 EP K-FLIP+. The track has already been described by fans as a standout contender for the 2025 Hip Hop Track of the Year. ‘Show Must Go On’ is now available on major streaming platforms.
