It’s a wrap for the cast and crew of Captain America: Brave New World. Following Chris Evans’ departure from Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America, the baton is passed to Sam Wilson who will take on the role of the new Captain. Following the events of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, the new superhero will need all the help he can get to save the world.
However, the plot remains under wraps, cinematographer Kramer Morgenthau confirmed on Friday that the production for the upcoming sequel has been completed. The film will be ready for its July 26, 2024 release date.
Captain America: Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah. The movie is co-written by Malcolm Spellman, the creator of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. The cast features Harrison Ford making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross, taking over the role previously played by the late William Hurt.
