Veteran actress Zeenat Aman has been very creative with her Instagram account since her debut on the social media platform in February. Recently, the actress shared her thoughts on how there is no need of comparison with the flawless faces one sees on screen.

On Saturday, Zeenat took to her Instagram account and shared a black and white BTS picture from her photoshoot. In the picture, Zeenat can be surrounded by her team of hair and makeup artist, camera man and others. Sharing the picture, she captioned, “The madness behind the poise, caught on a black and white film camera by @tanyyaa.a_ .”

Sharing her thoughts, Zeenat wrote, “They say that comparison is the thief of joy, and here’s your Saturday evening reminder that you don’t need to look like the people you see on television or Instagram or magazines.”

She further added, “The flawless faces on your screen are made possible by an army of technicians - make up artists, hairdressers, lighting personnel, stylists, camerapersons, and increasingly photoshop experts I hear! Remember that we’re performers, this is our job. Enjoy the aesthetics, be inspired, but take it all with more than a pinch of salt.”

“Life is too short for looking good to get in the way of having fun, right?” she concluded.

Soon after she shared the post, several fans and industry friends expressed their love for the actress in the comments section. Priyanka Chopra Jonas commented, “Icon,” Padmini Kolhapure wrote, “Yesss so true .. iss zindagi ke Din kitne kam hain.. kitni hain khushiyaan aur kitne ghum hain (my favouritest song ).” Kajol, Shweta Bachchan and several other celebrities commented. Reacting to the post, a fan wrote, “So well put .. Almost all of us miss out on the little joys of life because of the pressure of ' looking good',” another user commented, Thank you! It would be quite nuts to make life's mission to be that glam daily unless, as you say, it's part of your job.”

Zeenat Aman is an Indian actress and a former model. The Evil Within (1970), starring Dev Anand, marked the former beauty queen's acting debut. She has acted in films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Qurbani, Dharam Veer, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Insaaf Ka Tarazu among others.
