Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon share a life like chemistry in the promos of Raabta. The mellifluous songs and the bonding they share is magical. The physical intimacy is a testimony to an intense longing that casts a spell on the viewers. In a Bollywood Hungama exclusive Faridoon Shahryar asked Sushant Singh Rajput about the experience of working with Kriti Sanon and this is what Sushant had to say:

"Two very important things that I remember. One was when we did the audition for the first time. Generally what happens is that you are not sure about your co-actor, when you are meeting them for the first time. Because you are always thinking, what if I do an improvisation and he/she doesn’t react? It is a very big embarrassment. So you are always fidgeting. But if you do improve and other one improves too, you are flying with that person. So this something which I am very tuned to when I am working with someone for the first time. I have been fortunate enough that all my actors have been like that. Rajkummar in Kai Po Che (my first film). So while auditioning we are doing this one scene, she appeared confident. Suddenly I do an improve and she reacts to it with another improve which is consistent with the same. So I looked at Dinu (Dinesh Vijan) and he was smiling. And then of course the most important thing for actor is listening. You listen, you react. So this thing was there right from the first day. We both were listening to each other and reacting. That probably is chemistry. Then we did workshops and I knew she was playing her part well. She is so inclined to better what she is doing. These were the two things. So I had an idea of this is what our performances would look and if this film does well you will be pleasantly surprised by her performance. She’s just done two films and she’s not a trained actor, so if the film does well you’ll be surprised by her performance."
