Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai featuring Pranali Rathod, Harshad Chopda, Jay Soni, and Karishma Sawant in the lead has recently witnessed a leap that has changed the status of their relationships in the show. While Abhinav (Jay) and Akshara (Pranali) were planning to give their relationship a chance, a sudden revelation has changed its course. On the other hand, Abhimanyu (Harshad) has been focusing on his son Abhir which has impacted his relationship with Aarohi (Karishma), leaving the latter disappointed. While the Birlas are gearing to celebrate the famous festival of Gangaur, lets see what new twist of fate await the four.
While it is yet to be seen the kind of Gangaur celebrations Aarohi will be having, Karishma Sawant has been enjoying the present celebratory feel of the festival in real life as she has been rejoicing it with her onscreen family including onscreen sister Pranali Rathod aka Akshara. “Being a part of the onscreen Gangaur Celebrations is wonderful because I don't think it would have been possible for me to celebrate this festival otherwise. It is only because of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that I have gotten to know about the Rajasthani culture so well and all the details are also being taken care of properly.” she said.
Talking about the costumes, Karishma continued, “The costume, jewellery, makeup, the set, folk dances, functions, festivals - Rajan Sir has presented a very authentic culture of Udaipur since the show has a Rajasthani backdrop. I loved it because women look the most beautiful in their traditional outfits, Rajasthani Poshak being one of them.”
“When people say that we take them to the city of Rajasthan that is Udaipur because of the traditional look that we carry in the show has to be the best compliment received,” she added.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai airs on Star Plus from Monday to Sunday at 9:30 pm and is also available on Disney+Hotstar.
