Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Shireen Mirza opens up about returning to spin off series Yeh Hai Chahatein; calls it ‘homecoming’ : Bollywood News

Yeh Hai Chahatien has kept its audience hooked on to the television screens with its multiple plotlines and leaps. Post two major leaps, the Star Plus show is currently focusing on a completely new journey of new characters, Kaashvi (Shagun Sharma), daughter of Samrat Chaudhary (Abrar Qazi) and Nayanthara (Sargun Kaur Luthra) and her life with Arjun (Pravisht Mishra). Along with new leads, the show also witnessed the entry of Shireen Mirza who earned a lot of love for her role as Simmi Bhalla in Yeh Hai Chahatein.

Shireen Mizra retuned to the small screen with Yeh Hai Chahatein which is a spin off series of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The actress is essaying the role of Nitya Bajwa, Arjun’s mother in the show. However, Shireen maintained that her character of Nitya is different from that of her much-loved role of Simmi in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Speaking about her new role, Shireen Mirza said, " It has been an amazing and fun experience working for Star Plus. With Star Plus, it feels like homecoming. Previously I did a show with them, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and now Yeh Hai Chahatein. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has given each one of us millions of memories to cherish for life, friends who have become like family. With each passing day our Mohabbatein is growing. Now coming back with Yeh Hai Chahatein, a spin off of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, it makes my comeback even more special. I am excited about playing Nitya Bajwa and looking forward to how my character gets moulded in the show."

The show has been experimenting different shades of love which are not just raw, real, but also relatable, and it recently witnessed multiple leaps including a reincarnation of Preesha-lookalike Nayanthara (Sargun Kaur Luthra) and traced her love story with Rockstar Samrat Chaudhary (Abrar Qazi), son of Preesha and Rudraksh. Post that, the show has now moved forward to 20 years later, with Nayanthara and Samrat’s daughter Kaashvi’s life taking centre stage.
