Bollywood beauty Yami Gautam surprised everyone when she announced her wedding with her Uri: The Surgical Strike filmmaker Aditya Dhar. The good looking couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on June 4 in the presence of their immediate family members. Interestingly, the low-key affair took place at a farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, over a span of two days. The actress is back in Mumbai and has resumed work but it is also reminiscing the wedding days.

This past weekend, Yami uploaded a sweet, mushy post on her Instagram and video of her and her sister Surilie. Yami misses Surilie and talked about missing her chai sessions and homemade milk cake cooking session with Surilile. She thanked her for being there for her throughout and how Surilie helped Yami get her wedding shopping done during the lockdown, helping her with her makeup and hair and being her 'One Man Army'. She captioned the post, “From rushing to shop whatever we could (and I mean SHAADI shopping) in a span of an hour (since the city was in strict lockdown), to styling my hair & helping me create all these beautiful traditional looks that I always wanted and most importantly keeping me so entertained with your endless jokes & banter with Ojas that I never for a minute felt nervous or anxious. From our endless list making, chai drinking sessions, to your yummy cooking (including homemade milk cakes) and so many other things.”

“Having a family where there is only unconditional love, strong middle-class values and traditions makes me feel very lucky & I will always choose these virtues over anything in the world,” she wrote. “Thank you all for this love & respect. P.S love for 90s & Govinda sir...forever.”
