The World Music Day Festival Season 5 by Hungama Artist Aloud recently took place in five cities of India. The concerts saw live performances from exceptionally talented artistes with more than 8000 audience members turning up.
World Music Day Festival Season 5: Javed Ali, Papon and others leave Indian music lovers mesmerizedThe dashing Javed Ali performed in Hyderabad on June 21. The highlight of his performance in front of a large energetic crowd was his rendition of ‘Tu Jo Mila’ from Bajrangi Bhaijaan. After the performance, he happily said, “I would heartily like to thank all my fans in Hyderabad. Not just Hindi, but also the Telugu audience gave me so much of love.”
Lifafa performed in Delhi, NCR on June 28. He too was greeted by a large number of energetic audiences that visibly went into a trance to the rendition of his special tracks. “Music to be in one word is transcendence,” he said after the show. But that’s not all. Lifafa also performed on June 28 in front of an equally charged up crowd in Bengaluru.
Next was the chance of the group When Chai Met Toast to perform in Indore on July 27. Their performance was also met with a super positive reaction by a large crowd.
The popular Papon then displayed his talent and versatility in the city of Mumbai on August 3. He said after the performance, “Performing in Mumbai is amazing because it’s one of the best audience in the world. I think the kind of music I do is very diverse. The Mumbai audience is very receptive, interactive and powerful. Mumbai is known for its people energy and people power.”
The Season 5 of World Music Day by Hungama Artist Aloud lived up to its name and reputation once again. It has left Indian music lovers keenly anticipate the next season.
