We all know that the world of Bollywood is synonymous with edgy fashion, quirky styles and dynamic trends. While we are absolutely besotted and cannot stop marvelling at their sartorial choices, celeb fashion stylists are the reckoning force for some of the finest fashion moments of our beloved stars. As much as we do admire the ardent efforts of the celeb glam squad, certain fashion faux pas are inadvertent and a fashion face-off ensues. We came across an intriguing celeb fashion face-off between two Bollywood divas, Kangana Ranaut and Bhumi Pednekar who donned the monochrome Bhibhu Mohapatra creation.
Looking glamorous is pretty much a permanent fixture of their profession and celeb stylists have to up the celeb glam game with each appearance. But as fashion aficionados, our roving eye never blinks and here’s the dope on who fared the best in this face-off.
For the Peter England Mr. India pageant, Kangana Ranaut was snapped wearing the monochrome Bibhu Mohaptra creation featuring a fitted bodice, a fitted black skirt and a billowing tulle train teamed with a pair of black Tom Ford pumps.
A subtle makeup featuring dark lips, dark eyelids and bronzed cheekbones, courtesy makeup artist Lovleen Ramchandani and bouncy waves, courtesy hair stylist Divya Naik upped her look.
For the Verve magazine photoshoot, Bhumi stepped into this monochrome Bhibhu Mohapatra creation with the fitted bodice accentuating her petite and toned frame. A subtle makeup of well-accentuated eyes and nude matte lips and messy waves, courtesy Elton J Fernandez rounded out her look.
Bollywood Hungama Style Take
While Kangana’s look was styled by Ami Patel, Bhumi’s look was put-together by Divyak D’Souza. Kangana’s snazzy makeup renders a dramatic dimension to her look while Bhumi’s sublime makeup allows the creation to take centre-stage. We love both the looks for their distinct sensibilities.
While we can’t really pick and choose as both the looks are quite well put-together, do let us know your views on the same.
On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi while Bhumi Pednekar who had fabulous 2017 with Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Shubh Mangal Savdhan will be seen in Bombay Talkies 2.
