They say if you market it well you can even sell snow to an Eskimo. The case with the biggest movie of the season Tees Maar Khan may be no different, thanks to the famous ‘Sheila Ki Jawani‘ which is surely doing the trick. So strong is the publicity that the words “you can run but you can’t hide” seems to buzz non-stop in one’s head. Be it radio, be it the television, even your maid would sing the song while she goes about her daily chores.
No matter where you go, positive reinforcement about Tees Maar Khan seems like it’s even better than the likes of Avatar.
Producer Shirish Kunder keeps retweeting the endless compliments he is receiving from the film. Including Akshay Kumar who too has been retweeting the compliments like Hardik_Daya @akshaykumar I’m in office reading such good reviews abt TMK, feeling J, waiting for evening, night show tickets booked :)), mailabhi2020 @akshaykumar TMK is out of this world …I am still laughing even after 1 hour after the movie.. I have booked for watching it 2 more times.

Ur hubby is cute, premthelove @TheFarahKhan what a movie Tees Maar Khan, must watch again and again, its the best movie of the year, hats off, bossygirl2012 me and my gurls went 2 watch Tees Maar Khan a entertaining film by my fav director @TheFarahKhan we laughed da entire time great film 🙂
If anybody read that, one would believe that Tees Maar Khan is probably the most rib ticking; entertaining film ever made in Bollywood. It is strange how no one is really saying what exactly is so different and unique about it. But here is where one must read between lines, or in this case read in more than one place.
The other place here we are referring to is one of the many Facebook pages of Katrina Kaif. A good look reveals what was nicely sweeped under the carpet on twitter. Her fans posted unhindered on the FB page. Comments go like “yes, my few friends saw it …but they were saying it’s the worse ever”, “you shouldn’t have done it Kat”, “Learn something from Aamir, if you want a long career in films, take it as a suggestion” and so on which only gets ugly.
But this little feedback goes to show difference of opinion between the audiences. The film has huge hype surrounding it and the Christmas weekend will surely help. However, will the audiences like this comedy is something which only time will tell.
