Dhadak stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter have been on the promotional tour all around the country. The upcoming stars have been travelling nonstop from state to another to get the excitement rolling amongst the audience for their film. With just a day to go for the big release, the newbies are pretty pumped about their film. While late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor is making her debut, Shahid Kapoor‘s youngest brother Ishaan Khatter is gearing for his second film after Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds.
Just recently, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter were in New Delhi to promote Dhadak. If one has observed their social media accounts, the two stars are pretty close to each other and often pull each other’s legs. One thing everyone has noticed that the two of them are a complete foodie. They have relished on kinds of delicacies during their promotional tour. So when it Delhi, one can’t stop themselves from trying the famous Gol Gappe. Janhvi and Ishaan tried a plate full of Gol Gappe aka Pani Puri as we call in Mumbai along with their Dhadak team.
Speaking about a press conference in Delhi, Janhvi Kapoor admitted she is nervous but excited about her debut. “I really had a great experience I had never before. I have learned a lot of things I went to Rajasthan and observe carefully about their nature, a way of talking and everything. Yes, I am full of excitement as well as nervousness. I keep telling Ishaan that bhanda July 20 ko phootne vaala hai. We will know our fate then. Right now we can only hope that people like our work.” she said.
Ishaan Khatter said that they are excited about the audience’s verdict. “We have created a beautiful and important film, and we have worked very hard to show it the way our director envisioned it. The film has been my most memorable experience and now the only unknown factor is the audience verdict. That is keeping us on the edge but we are ready to face the truth and take it from there,” he added at the press conference in New Delhi.
“It is a universal film and we do not just want appreciation. We feel the film should be debated and talked about since it is about a very important societal issue. People should be conscious of their surrounding realities and ask questions,” said Ishaan about Dhadak’s message.
