It was recently announced that Ananya Panday’s next will be a Shakun Batra directorial with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi joining the star cast. We’re all aware of how good a filmmaker Shakun is and while the makers are still on the lookout for their second male lead, Anaya Panday expressed her excitement of working on this project. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Ananya Panday revealed that they have had a few readings before the lockdown and it will be like she’s going back to school to learn things from everyone on the set.

Ananya said, “I don’t think I can tell you how excited I am, I actually have a wishlist of all the directors and actors I want to work with, on my phone. Then, when I actually got to tick Shakun Batra’s name off the list, it felt like its all working out and it was an overwhelming feeling for me. I can’t talk much about my role in the film. But, I think it’s very interesting and there has never been anything like it in Bollywood. We’ve had a bunch of readings and workshops before the lockdown. It’s going to be a very interesting experience for me because I am going to be sitting with my book and noting down everything I learn from Shakun and Deepika or everyone else on the sets. I’m going to take this film like I’m going back to school and I want to learn and absorb as much as I can.”
