On Sunday (April 20), during IPL 2025’s rivalry week at the Mullanpur Stadium in Chandigarh, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 7 wickets, making up for their earlier 5-wicket loss to PBKS in Bengaluru. After the match, a sweet moment between PBKS co-owner and Bollywood actor Preity Zinta and RCB star Virat Kohli near the boundary line was caught on camera and has gone viral online.
Following Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s victory over Punjab Kings, highlighted by Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 73-run knock, PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta was seen congratulating him despite her team’s loss. A video captured the two sharing a warm conversation near the boundary line, with both sporting their respective team jerseys.

Virat then took out his phone and appeared to show Preity Zinta something, which many fans speculate were photos of his children, Vamika and Akaay, with Anushka Sharma. Preity was seen looking closely at the screen and smiling warmly. The video of the exchange quickly went viral, with fans charmed by the heartwarming moment.
Among the many reactions to the video, one comment read, “Why do I feel like he is showing her Akaay’s pic?” Another user said, “I am sure he is showing his kids’ photos.” A fan also wrote, “The way she is smiling, he might be showing a picture of his kids.”
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have consistently maintained their children’s privacy, keeping Vamika and Akaay out of the public eye. The couple also avoids posting their kids’ photos on social media.
Preity Zinta is set to return to the big screen after seven years with Rajkumar Santoshi’s film Lahore 1947. The movie, produced by Aamir Khan, is set during the partition of India and stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. It also features Shabana Azmi and Ali Fazal, and is scheduled to release in cinemas in 2026.
