Vijay Varma becomes Hamza from Darlings at a Halloween party; Radhika Apte, Gulshan Devaiah reacts : Bollywood News

The season of spooks and evil has arrived, and everybody including the most renowned actors in Bollywood had a great time celebrating Halloween. While Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday recreated popular characters’ looks, actor Vijay Varma made a smart move for a Halloween party. Interestingly, Varma showed up as Hamza from Darlings.

Vijay took to his social media handle and shared a few pictures to give a sneak peek into his gala time with friends at a Halloween party. Decked up in a Railway suit and pants, Vijay dressed up as Hamza for the party he attended. Captioning the post, Vijay wrote, “Guess who I dressed up as this Halloween?” followed by a scorpion emoji.

As soon as the Gully Boy star posted the pictures, his fans and friends flooded the comments section with reactions. Among others, Gulshan Devaiah, Radhika Apte, and Jonita Gandhi were among the first ones to react to the post, While Devaiah quipped, “Lazy but cool choice & shamelessly self promotional.. which is I totally approve of,” Apte called it , “very cool”. Whereas, Gandhi wrote, “Excellent use of prop”. Interestingly, a fan indeed agreed that Hamza from Darlings is a “true horror”.

For the unversed, as mentioned above, Vijay played the character of Hamza in Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah starrer Darlings. In the film, Hamza is a ruthless, alcoholic man, who physically harasses his wife Badru (played by Alia Bhatt) for making minor mistakes. The film started streaming directly on Netflix from August 5 this year.

Coming to his professional front, the 36-year-old actor has recently wrapped his schedule for Mirzapur 3. He joined the cast of the Prime Video series from the second season as Bharat Tyagi. The web show also features Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, and Ali Fazal.
