Vicky Kaushal, currently promoting his upcoming period action film Chhaava, shared a powerful photo from the film on Instagram. In the image, he sported an intense expression taken from a moment in the trailer where he chants the mantra, “Om Namah Parvati Pataye Har Har Mahadev.”

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film, in which Vicky portrays Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is set to release on February 14. Captioning the post, Vicky wrote, “What do you hear?”

Fans quickly flooded the comments section with reactions to Vicky Kaushal’s post. One user wrote, “Harrrr Harrrr Mahadevvv.” Another added, “Jai Bhawani.” Some fans were already predicting the film’s success, with a comment reading, “Chhaava = BIGGEST blockbuster of 2025!!!!!”

The film also features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in key roles.

Chhaava, produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, promises to depict the story of one of India’s most renowned historical figures. Vicky Kaushal portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, showcasing his unwavering determination and resilience. Rashmika Mandanna plays Maharani Yesubai, embodying strength and grace, while Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, setting the stage for a compelling historical epic.

The makers recently unveiled Chhaava’s first track, ‘Jaane Tu’, which beautifully captures the eternal love story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Maharani Yesubai.

Composed by AR Rahman, the song is sung by Arijit Singh, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil.

Chhaava is among the most anticipated films of 2025. Apart from this film, Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
