Actor Varun Sharma recently took to social media to share an emotional note after receiving an overwhelming response from fans during the first day of promotions for his upcoming film Rahu Ketu in Delhi. The actor posted a heartfelt message reflecting on the love he received on ground, admitting that while he appeared cheerful publicly, he was moved to tears once the day wrapped up.
Calling Delhi the perfect city to kickstart the promotional journey, Varun wrote about how returning to public promotions after nearly two years felt both familiar and reassuring. He spoke candidly about the pressures actors often deal with — self-doubt, expectations of outdoing previous work, and the uncertainty of what comes next. In his post, Varun acknowledged experiencing sleepless nights and long internal conversations, but said the warmth and encouragement from fans helped restore his confidence.
The post was accompanied by videos showing Varun being greeted by cheering crowds, fans clicking pictures, and lining up for autographs. Visibly touched by the response, the actor credited the audience for giving him the “push” he needed, adding that the day reminded him that things will eventually fall into place.

Varun Sharma is currently busy promoting Rahu Ketu, an upcoming Hindi-language comedy film written and directed by Vipul Vig. The film is produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Suraj Singh and Varsha Kukreja under the banners of Zee Studios and BLive Productions. Alongside Varun, the film stars Pulkit Samrat, Shalini Pandey and Chunky Panday in key roles.
Rahu Ketu is slated for a theatrical release on January 16, 2026.
