Varun Dhawan kept the audience laughing as he recounted a memorable mishap from his pandemic-era wedding. “My marriage was a very stressful affair,” he joked. He elaborated, “The day we were leaving for the function, that day Rohit [Dhawan] tested positive for COVID. So then I was like, ‘What the hell? I can’t get married without my brother.’”

Adding to the chaos, Varun revealed a hilarious twist: “So then we got Rohit retested. Then we came to know that they had swapped his test with some other Rohit.” The story had Alia and Kajol in fits of laughter, while Twinkle quipped, “This is like the script of Judwaa.”

The actor also opened up about his protective instincts as a father. Speaking about his daughter Lara, Varun admitted he wouldn’t want her to watch one of his most intense films, Badlapur. “There is a scene between Huma and I, which is a bit too violent, I feel. I would not want her to watch it,” he said.
