The BTS material has revealed a major musical update — a remake of the iconic 90s hit ‘Chunari Chunari’ will be featured in the film.

Originally picturised on Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen in Biwi No. 1, the song is making a grand comeback in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Photos and videos from the set suggest that Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde will lead the dance number but reports also hint that Mrunal Thakur will be part of the recreated track. Fans of 90s Bollywood music can expect a fresh twist to the upbeat track which was originally sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Anuradha Sriram, with new choreography and a modern visual treatment.

Interestingly, the title of the film itself is inspired by the lyrics of another song from Biwi No. 1 — ‘Ishq Sona Hai’. Known for his flair for comedy and catchy music, David Dhawan seems to be blending nostalgia with youthful charm in this new-age rom-com.
