Renowned cricketer Rishabh Pant suffered a massive accident on the Delhi – Dehradun Highway while on his way to his hometown. While many friends of the cricketer visited him in the hospital, including Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher, he also received a lot of ‘get well soon’ wishes from his colleagues and fans. Now, the latest one to post a prayer for him is the mother of actress Urvashi Rautela, Meera Rautela who took to Instagram to share a ‘God bless’ wish for the cricketer.

Urvashi Rautela’s mother Meera Rautela posted a photo of Rishabh Pant in his Indian cricket team jersey saying, “Social media ki afvayein ek taraf aur aap ka swasth ho ke antarashtriya sthar par Uttarakhand ka naam roshan karna dusri taraf, Siddhibalibaba aap par vishesh krupa kare Aap sabi log bhi prarthana karein. (Rumours of social media on one side and you recovering and regaining your health to glorify the name of Uttarakhand in the world of international cricket on the other side – may God be with you. Requesting all of you to pray for him)”.

On the day, Rishabh Pant suffered the accident, actress and former beauty queen Urvashi Rautela took to Instagram to share a cryptic post where she posted her photo from one of her photoshoots with a caption that read, “Praying”. For the unversed, Rishabh Pant suffered a major accident on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway when he was heading to his hometown Roorkee in Uttarakhand to surprise his mother. The cricketer crashed his car which damaged even further after it caught fire. However, before the incident, Rishabh escaped the vehicle but sustained injuries on his head, back and legs.

As for the controversy between Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela, the two exchanged a heated war of cryptic posts on social media after the latter claimed in a Bollywood Hungama interview about how a certain cricket personality named RP spent the night waiting at a hotel lobby in Delhi, only to meet the actress.
