UMANG 2019: Sara Ali Khan sizzles in her debut performance, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor make it a grand night

One can always expect it to be a grand affair when stars come under one roof. Every year, B-town comes together to celebrate the efforts of cops at the annual Umang Mumbai Police Show. This year, it was a star-studded affair with A-listers including Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kartik Aaryan among many others who entertained the audience and set the stage on fire.

Umang 2019 stage marked the debut performance of 2018’s biggest debutante Sara Ali Khan. The actress sizzled on stage in a shimmery outfit as she danced on her hit tracks ‘Aankh Marey’ from Simmba and ‘Sweetheart’ from Kedarnath. The newbie actress looked super confident in her performance.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the new lovebirds of tinsel town, attended the event together. Not only did they arrive and greeted the cops, they even grooved onstage with Shah Rukh Khan. Ranbir arrived on stage in a remix version of ‘Kar Har Maiden Fateh’ from Sanju as SRK and Maniesh Paul greeted him after the performance. Alia and SRK had a ‘Dear Zindagi reunion and the crowd cheered for them.

RK said that he has been in the industry for 10 years but no one has offered him a cop role yet. SRK said that he is been here for 26 years and yet no one has given him a policeman’s role. SRK quipped RK can do the cop movie after he has done it. To which RK readily agreed and said that he will play a constable in the film in which SRK will star as a cop.

Sushant Singh Rajput made the dance with him as he grooved to the beats of ‘Main Tera Boyfriend’ from Raabta and ‘Sweetheart’ from Kedarnath.
