Sony TV's show CID was among the longest-running television series in India, the show that first aired in 1998 aired its last episode in 2018. With over 1500 episodes, the characters of the show became a household name. From Daya played by Dayanand Shetty, ACP Pradyuman played by Shivaji Satam to Abhijeet played by Aditya Srivastava, the actors of the show CID were loved by people from across the country.

Four years after the show came to an end, the team of CID had a reunion. The cast members met at actor Shraddha Musale's house, who essayed the role of Forensic expert Dr. Tarika, assistant to Dr. Salunkhe played by Narendra Gupta. Present at the reunion were Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Dinesh Phadnis (Inspector Fredricks), Janhvi Chheda (Sub Inspector Shreya), Hrishikesh Pandey (Inspector Abhimanyu), Ajay Nagrath (Inspector Pankaj), Ansha Sayed, (Inspector Purvi).

Sharing pictures from the reunion, Ansha wrote, “A great team makes a great show..Not just actors but the entire crew is exceptional..We all are so looking forward to work together again ( I am hinting at makers who want to create magic onscreen again )I like the stir which is created when Cid team gets together, which keeps reminding us of the unconditional love you guys shower us with ! MISS you @shivaaji_satam sir and @narendragupta22 sir”.

Fans were elated to see the team back together in a frame. While some took to the comment section asking about a new season, some found the reunion incomplete in the absence of Shivaji Satam and Narendra Gupta.
