Not too long ago, Trisha Krishnan bashed Leo co-actor Mansoor Ali Khan for making derogatory comments against her when he expressed that he was disappointed to not feature any ‘bedroom’ or ‘rape’ scenes with her. While the issue against Khan went on to become a police case, now Trisha Krishnan appreciating and showering love on the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has not gone down well with internet users. Although the film has been receiving immense love at the box office, many have expressed their displeasure by talking about the portrayal of violence, especially scenes where Ranbir is seen exhibiting such traits on his wife, Rashmika Mandanna in the film.

Amid many social media users reportedly slamming Sandeep Reddy Vanga for the film, the love the film received from Trisha Krishnan has allegedly stirred trouble for the actress as many accused her of being a ‘woke feminist’ or rather, a ‘fake feminist’. In the deleted post, Trisha Krishnan had revealed about watching about the latest Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal and reviewed it, calling it ‘cult’. But this didn’t go down well with many users since the actress was recently seen championing about feminism when Mansoor Ali Khan revealed about not having any ‘rape’ or ‘bedroom’ scenes with her in their recently released action drama Leo.

Animal stars Ranbir Kapoor as an obsessed man whose only aim in life is to see his father proud and he will go to any extent to prove his love for him. The film also features a few scenes where he behaves brashly and violently with his wife, essayed by Rashmika Mandanna which seems to have left many social media users upset. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film released on December 1 in five languages.
