Sandeep Reddy Vanga's latest directorial venture, Animal, has achieved a remarkable milestone at the box office. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles, the film has captivated audiences nationwide.
Recently, Triptii Dimri, who portrayed the character Zoya in Animal, addressed a viral video from the movie's premiere night that had fans buzzing. In the clip, Triptii was seen seemingly captivated while watching Ranbir Kapoor engaged in conversation during the red carpet event. Speculation ensued that the actress found it difficult to take her eyes off the acclaimed actor. However, Triptii, in an interview on Siddarth Kannan's YouTube channel, clarified the situation by revealing that she was simply feeling "very nervous."
Further, Triptii explained the same on Instant Bollywood channel saying, “Hum log screening pe thay. And, unko puri cast ka shoot krna tha unko. [We were at the screening. They wanted to shoot the whole cast.] They wanted the whole cast of Animal together. And people were talking. And, he (Ranbir Kapoor) was right in front of me talking to somebody. So, if someone's talking to someone in front of me, obviously, you will look at that person.” Triptii added, “If you will notice I was just rubbing my hands. My dad, in fact, called me after watching the whole footage. And he was like, ‘Were you nervous?'. I said, ‘Haan. How do you know?' He was like, ‘You were rubbing your hands. I know, you rub your hands when you are nervous.'”
Triptii Dimri also addressed another viral video where she appears to be looking at Ranbir Kapoor during a conversation. She attributed this to her nervousness, especially given the magnitude of her theatrical release after a five-year hiatus. Triptii candidly shared, “So, I was really nervous. And specially, when you are standing with people like Ranbir, you are bound to get nervous, right? And I think he was standing in front of me, talking to somebody and you don't even realise in that moment, where you are looking, what you are looking at.”

Talking about Animal, the film collected Rs. 33.53 crores on Sunday, with Tamil and Telugu dubbed scoring another Rs. 3 crores. The film is now all set to enter the Rs. 500 crores club at the box office and will be looking to challenge all India collections of Shah Rukh Khan's Janmashtami release, Jawan.
Animal is reaping big ROI to producers Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Murad Khetani, and it is going to be the case of how much big the profits end up being. On the ROI % front, it will be among the biggest of the recent few years. This is historic and Animal is not looking to stop anytime soon.
