Tripti Dimri, renowned for her impactful portrayal of Zoya in the highly-discussed movie Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor, recently shared insights into filming intimate scenes with the Bollywood star. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, she revealed her parents' initial reaction upon witnessing those moments on screen, acknowledging that it took them some time to come to terms with it.

Opening up about her parents' response, Tripti stated, “My parents got a little taken aback. (They said) ‘We have never seen something like this in films and you have done it.’ It took them time to get over that scene. They were very sweet to me though. They were like, ‘You shouldn’t have done that but it’s okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this.’”

She emphasized her commitment to her craft, explaining to her parents that she wasn't doing anything wrong. Tripti asserted that as an actor, honesty with the character is paramount, and her performance aimed to be true to the role she portrayed. “I told them I am not doing anything wrong. It’s my job and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem in that. I am an actor and I have to be 100 percent honest with the character that I play and I did that,” she added.

Animal continues to gain momentum, poised to achieve significant records in its second weekend and second week, with expectations of reaching around Rs. 100 crores. The film, known for its A-rating and extended runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes, has become one of the most talked-about and appreciated releases of 2023.
