At the opening of her fine jewellery store in Mumbai, Tamannaah Bhatia spoke to Harper’s Bazaar India about design, discipline and the ideas that quietly guide her life—both on and off screen. The actor-entrepreneur introduced her debut collection with a clarity of thought that reflects the philosophy behind the brand: simplicity rooted in meaning.
The first collection, she shared, is built around what she calls the “flick”—a basic form inspired by the concept of yin and yang. “It’s inspired by yin and yang, like everything that’s dual in life and nature—sun and moon, day and night, masculine, feminine—and that’s our very basic form,” Tamannaah explained. The emphasis on duality is not ornamental but foundational, shaping the design language across the line.
Using this single form, the collection explores multiple expressions. “We’ve created a lot of pieces in different things—hoops, rings, bracelets, a necklace with links,” she said, adding that the intent was to remain playful despite working within the space of fine jewellery. By keeping the structure minimal, the designs allow wearability and interpretation to take centre stage.
For Tamannaah, stepping into entrepreneurship is not a shift but an extension. She resists neat labels, seeing identity as fluid rather than fixed. “Actor or entrepreneur, I don’t know. I don’t look at human beings as this or that,” she said. “Human beings are multi-dimensional. They’re divergent. They can do everything.” The belief informs her approach to work—one that encourages channeling multiple interests rather than compartmentalising them.

Grounding this expansive outlook is an awareness of impermanence. Tamannaah spoke candidly about how the idea of mortality keeps her centred. “I feel like we’re mortal. That really helps as a thought,” she reflected. “It keeps me humble—that all of this is very temporary. But of course, we can shine while that happens.” The line neatly captures the balance she seeks between ambition and perspective.
Among the pieces in the collection, one stands out as a personal triumph. “I’m really proud of bringing the pinky ring back,” she said, calling it an underrated accessory poised for a resurgence. According to her, it’s more than a styling choice. “I really want people to get the power pinky back because I feel like it makes you feel powerful.” She confidently dubbed it a defining trend for 2026, and described the “power pinky” as one of her proudest small wins.

When asked about her biggest grown-up flex, Tamannaah didn’t point to scale or success, but stamina. “I like to live an entire lifetime in a day,” she said. Describing her routine as running a marathon daily, she added, “Marathons are not meant to be run just once. I’m doing it every day. So that’s a flex.”
In many ways, the jewellery launch mirrors the person behind it—rooted in form, layered in thought, and driven by the idea that one life can hold many roles, many rhythms, and many ways to shine.
