Best known for her role in the longest running Indian sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Deepti Sadhwani recently left fans awestruck with her appearance at Cannes Film Festival 2024. After sharing deets of her journey to the French Riviera, the actress took to social media on Wednesday to share photos from her first red carpet appearance during the festival, leaving her social media followers impressed with her classy choice of attire for the event.

Readers would be aware that several prestigious Indian and international celebrities make their grand appearance at this famous Cannes Film Festival 2024 and this year too, it will be seeing a host of celebrities from India walking the red carpet. As for Deepti Sadhwani, the actress opted for a glamourous off-shoulder orange gown with a ruffled coat which is expected to feature the ‘longest trail’. Taking to her social media, Deepti opened up about walking the red carpet and breaking the record of the longest trail as she wrote, “Honoured to be walking the red carpet for the Opening ceremony of 77th Cannes Film Festival with the record breaking longest trail of gown .” From photos to videos she shared several special moments from the ceremony.

Prior to this, Deepti also took to the platform to share photos from a few day photoshoots she did before walking the red carpet.

From what we hear, Deepti is expected to be a part of the Festival De Cannes and will be walking the red carpet for the next three days. The first day was a lavish affair wherein the opening ceremony kicked off with the premiere of Quentin Dupieux’s film The Second Act, followed by a felicitation ceremony wherein the Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep was honored.
