Taapsee Pannu shares her first day experience shooting with the ‘fierce’ Amrita Singh for Badla : Bollywood News

Actress Taapsee Pannu played the role of Naina Sethi in the film Badla that was released early in 2019. The film that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Amrita Singh is a mystery thriller. On Friday, the actress took to Insatgram to share a selfie she clicked on the day she was going to shoot her first scene with senior actress Amrita Singh.

The scene has Amrita Singh confronting Taapsee’s character about her son. Talking about the day, Taapsee revealed her experience of working with Amrita Singh and said that she wanted to click a picture with the actress but the latter was busy preparing for the scenes.

“Being Naina Sethi. This picture I clicked while we were shooting for the interval sequence of Badla. First day of shooting with the fierce Amrita Singh. I don’t know if it’s the Sardarni in me or the no holds barred way of life that connected us n it’s so cool to see her so excited n nervous to approach her scenes like a debutant wanting to do her best n listening to the director with the intention to do her best. One of the rare actors who has a very nonchalant depth in her performance,” she wrote.

“I would’ve loved to click a picture with her that day but she was too busy rehearsing her ‘bhaari’ lines while I didn’t have much to say in the scene and I didn’t want to disturb her,” Taapsee added.
