Taapsee Pannu recently shared how despite not being from the film industry and coming from a middle-class background where her parents proffered to save money, her mother supported her relentlessly in pursuing her dreams. The actress said, “When I said I really want to do it, she didn't bat an eyelid before spending money. It was kind of a mother’s intuition or probably the belief that every mother has that their daughter is the most beautiful in the world. She came to the studio with me, and spent her entire savings on my first portfolio.”

Speaking of the professional front, Taapsee was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki was released on December 21, 2023. Meanwhile, Pannu has a bunch of upcoming projects in her kitty including Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba, the sequel of her popular Netflix film. The streaming giant recently, in their event called Next on Netflix, released the teaser of the film. Besides Taapsee and Vikrant Massey, it will also star Sunny Kaushal.
