Swara Bhaskar, who keeps giving tidbits about her new journey into motherhood, had a lowkey Christmas celebration with her husband Fahad Ahmad and her newborn daughter Raabiyaa. In her recent post dedicated to the festival and festive season, the actress revealed her happiness with the arrival of the new member but the same time, she also touched upon the subject of the destruction happening in Gaza as she continued to express gratitude for having everything they have now.

With Christmas being celebrated among a whole lot of celebs, amid them was also Swara Bhaskar who is thankful for having received the best gift this year in the form of her daughter. Expressing the same, she shared photos of her husband Fahad Ahmad playing with their daughter as she looks on and she captioned these adorable moments in a joint post saying, “Thank God I have you to remind me that there are things worth fighting for in this depressing (globe and mending heart emoji). Happy holidays people! 2023 brought Christmas, Diwali, Eid all in one bundle to our home! (Christmas tree emoji) Not a very merry Christmas while there is a genocide ongoing in #Gaza but grateful for our plenty! <3 Sending everyone love.” She concluded the post by adding a sparkles’ emoji.

While Gauahar Khan dropped a heart showering her love on the post, many of Swara’s fans expressed their respect for the actress for addressing such a sensitive situation even amidst all the happiness and celebrations. “One of the few Indian actors to even acknowledge the ongoing Genocide. <3 love your integrity and moral conscience!” said one of the users whereas another one added, “Thank you so much for using your voice and platform for the Palestinians. God bless you and your family”.

Swara Bhaskar tied the knot with politician-activist Fahad Ahmad in a court ceremony on February 16, 2023, followed by a lavish celebration which was held a month later in March. The couple became parents to a beautiful daughter named Raabiyaa on September 23.
