Swara Bhaskar and Fahad Ahmad, who tied the knot earlier this year, announced their pregnancy a few months ago. Since then, the actress has been sharing glimpses of her motherhood journey and has also been expressing about how excited she is to enter the new phase of her life. As the couple gears up to enter parenthood, Swara’s family, friends and her husband Fahad decided to surprise her with an intimate and homely baby shower. As the actress thanked her loved ones for putting this together, she shared a sneak peek into the ceremony for her fans on social media.
Earlier today, Swara Bhaskar took to Instagram to share a video as well as a few pictures from the private baby shower bash, which according to her post, was kept as a well-guarded surprise from her with only her husband Fahad Ahmad being aware of it. In the video posted by the Veere Di Wedding star, she is seen telling her fam about how she arrived in pajamas for her own baby shower because it was a surprise and penned about it even in the long note she has written to express gratitude towards her loved ones for planning this entire bash.
In the note she said, “I love surprises! Last week, one of my oldest friends @samar_narayen & the amazing @laks7 and Fahad gave me the sweetest surprise in the form a baby shower that they managed to plan and execute without me getting even a whiff of it! I was sooooo clueless I arrived in pajamas! Ok not quite.. but I didn’t catch on till I caught @kaushikmoitra & @priyatnabasu arriving outside & then too I was merely confused!” She further added, “Thank you SO much guys! Swara Bhaskar tied the knot with Fahad Ahmad in a court wedding ceremony in February 2023, and later in March 2023, the couple got married in a traditional way with all the pre-wedding festivities as well as rituals. In June 2023, the couple announced their pregnancy in a heart-warming social media post.
