Sushmita Sen, a day after the celebration, took to Instagram and penned a note for the newlyweds, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare. Nupur has been Sushmita's dedicated fitness trainer for several years. Posting a heartfelt message alongside a picture of herself standing in front of a photograph featuring Ira and Nupur, Sushmita’s caption read, “I have witnessed their beautiful journey leading up to this Togetherness!!! Congratulations @khan.ira & @nupur_popeye May you always celebrate life & all its blessings!!! Here's to a new chapter & a destined bond!!! I love you soooooo much!!! Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare registered their wedding in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on January 3. The couple then had their wedding ceremonies in Udaipur, Rajasthan this week. Speaking of Ira Khan's grand wedding reception, it was held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. The event saw a bevy of celebrities gracing the occasion, including Nita and Mukesh Ambani, Salman Khan, Raj Thackeray, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha, Katrina Kaif, and many more.
