Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is truly an epitome of beauty of grace. Post the heart attack, the was quick to get back to work. Sushmita is currently gearing up for her upcoming project Taali where she will be seen essaying the character of a transgender activist Gauri Sawant. On the occasion of international transgender day Sushmita Sen shared a video on her social media account.

On Friday, Sushmita took to Instagram and shared a video featuring her and activist Gauri Sawant. Sharing the video, she wrote in caption, “‘Ab Taali bajegi hausla badhane ke liye!!! This #internationaltransgenderdayofvisibility let’s join hands to build a more inclusive and equal world for us all! Here’s to this powerful journey of love, strength and unity!! #duggadugga.”

The biopic will be created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar, helmed by National award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, and produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar & Afeefa Nadiadwala.

Sushmita was back at work after taking some time off since she had previously experienced a severe heart attack. Barely a week or so ago, Sushmita began working again and was spotted outside a dubbing studio in Mumbai. She has wrapped shooting and dubbing for the promo of the project.

Sushmita had suffered a heart attack and had shared news on social media. She had written, “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart.’ Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (my well-wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news …that all is well & I am ready for some life again!!!”

On the professional front, Sushmita was last seen in the second instalment of Disney+ Hotstar’s popular web series Aarya. The actress has already begun working on the third season.
