Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, known for his roles in Kai Po Che, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Shudh Desi Romance, MS Dhoni - The Untold Story and Chhichore, passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. He died by suicide at the age of 34. The cause of the death was revealed to be asphyxia due to hanging after post mortem reports were released. The funeral will be carried out on June 15 at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai,

Many celebrities have been seen visited Cooper Hospital in Mumbai to pay their last respects. His rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty visited earlier in the day. Post 3 pm, Kriti Sanon was seen arriving at the hospital. The paparazzi snapped her whilst she was in her car completed protected with mask and gloves.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon worked together in the 2017 film, Raabta. While the film did not fare well at the box office, the songs including ‘Ik Vaari Aa’, ‘Raabta’, and ‘Main Tera Boyfriend’ had become hit. The two of them were linked post the film but no party ever confirmed their relationship.

Shraddha Kapoor, who worked with Sushant in Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichore, was seen arriving at the hospital post 4 pm. She was seen along with actor Varun Sharma who was also part of the film.

On the work front, Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Chhichore and Drive. His next film Dil Bechara is scheduled to release on a digital platform. It stars Sanjana Sanghi and is directed by Mukesh Chhabra. The film is the Hindi remake of Hollywood film, The Fault In Our Stars.
