Veteran actress Supriya Pathak recently opened up about the OTT release of Khichdi 2: Panthukistan, sharing her thoughts on the audience response, her approach to the character, and the show's enduring popularity.

"The response for Khichdi 2 has been incredibly positive," Pathak shared. "The anticipation and excitement before the release were truly heartwarming. The warm reception from the audience, especially during promotional events, was overwhelming. Personally, I have a deep connection to Hansa, and the positive response towards her character holds a special place in my heart."

Maintaining the Essence of Hansa:

"Changing much in Khichdi 2 is difficult, as people expect Hansa to be exactly who she is," Pathak explained. "However, I wanted to bring back the innocence of the character, which is her core strength. I believe I achieved that, and I wouldn't change anything else. People love Hansa for who she is, and I portrayed her authentically."

"Khichdi's appeal lies in its lovable characters, witty scripts, and Aatish's excellent writing," Pathak stated. "The show's responses consistently bring happiness and smiles to people's faces. Starring Supriya Pathak Kapur, Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, Jamnadas Majethia, the comedy-drama will start streaming on Zee5 from February 9. It was released in theaters on November 17, 2023.
