The cameras are rolling for the much-anticipated sequel Border 2, marking the official start of its production journey. Excitement is at an all-time high as the star-studded lineup—featuring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty prepare to step onto the battlefield. We now hear that the filming for this war drama has commenced and fans eagerly anticipating its release, couldn’t be more excited as the movie goes on floors.

Set against a backdrop of patriotism and courage, Border 2 promises to deliver unparalleled action, gripping drama, and emotional depth. As filming progresses, fans can look forward to a high-octane, emotionally charged narrative that celebrates heroism like never before. Directed by Anurag Singh, the photo of the clapperboard indicating the commencement of the shoot of Border 2 was shared on social media by co-producer Nidhi Dutta.

The film is already one of the most awaited cinematic events, considering that its prequel tasted immense success. The prequel, which also featured Sunny in the lead role along with an extensive ensemble cast presented a deep insight into the infamous Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 which was known as the Battle of Longewala. Following the footsteps of its predecessor, we hear that the second instalment too will be based on true events, although details of the same are kept under wraps.

Border 2 is backed by a powerhouse production team comprising Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with JP Dutta’s J.P. Films and helmed by Anurag Singh, the sequel is set to carry forward the legacy of the iconic original while delivering a grand cinematic experience. While the actors have been announced, the makers are yet to unveil the name of actresses who will be seen as the leading ladies in this entertainer.
