‘Sun Sajni’ song launch: Kartik Aaryan says “Bollywood is BACK” with Satyaprem Ki Katha: “The kind of films that Hindi film industry used to make at one point… woh zamana wapas aa raha hai”

The teaser, trailer and songs of Satyaprem Ki Katha have been on air since sometime and have been noticed and appreciated. Interestingly, less than 10 days are left for the film's release and no promotional activity had taken place, making the fans wonder what's happening. Finally, the makers heard the plea of the fans and organized a grand event today to launch the energetic number 'Sun Sajni'. The song launch was graced by Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, director Sameer Vidwans and producers Warda Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia.

Kartik Aaryan was asked how he feels that the film is days away from release. The actor replied, “We have a lot of butterflies in our stomach. This is the first event of Satyaprem Ki Katha. Thank you for the enthusiasm. It has doubled our excitement. All credit goes to Sameer sir for working so passionately on the film and extracting such fine performances from us.”

He further said, “One of the significant feedback we got when the teaser was out and that is ‘Bollywood is back’. The kind of films that Hindi film industry used to make at one point... woh zamana wapas aa raha hai Satyaprem Ki Katha se. It’s all thanks to Sameer sir as he directed the film.”

Kartik Aaryan continued, “The film would not have reached at this level without Shareen ma'am, Kishor sir (Kishor Arora), Sajid sir (Sajid Nadiadwala) and Warda, who produced the film. Thank you for making every song as big as the other one. Isse zyada massive scale waale songs main imagine nahin kar sakta tha. It is an important film for both me and Kiara and aap logon ne iss film ko sone chandi ke saath bhar diya!”

Kartik Aaryan then spoke highly of the film's writer, Karan Shrikant Sharma, "Main utna acche se thank nahin kar paunga jitne acche shabdon se unhone yeh film ke dialogues likhe hai. Whatever you have seen in the trailers and songs is just 5%. Poori film mein aur bahut kuch hai jo hum log abhi nahin dikha pa rahe hai. Bahut saare sawaal hai (logon ke mann mein) jiska jawab aapko June 29 ko milega."

Satyaprem Ki Katha releases in cinemas on June 29, 2023.
