Star Plus is set to introduce Love Utsav, a month-long cultural initiative that blends storytelling with regional traditions, beginning 15 January in Gujarat. Timed with Uttarayan, the initiative aims to take themes of love and relationships beyond television screens and into public spaces through a series of on-ground activities.

The campaign will open with a symbolic kite-flying event featuring characters from Star Plus shows. Anupama, from the popular series of the same name, will fly a golden kite representing self-acceptance and inner strength. She will be joined by Raj and Raushni from the upcoming show Tod Kar Dil Mera, who will fly red kites symbolising romance and emotional connection.
As part of the initiative, Anupama will address the importance of self-worth and personal growth, while Tod Kar Dil Mera introduces a modern perspective on love, focusing on relationships that evolve after marriage. These narratives will form the thematic backbone of Love Utsav throughout the month.
The launch event will include a press conference rooted in Gujarati culture, followed by traditional kite flying and a community Undhiyu gathering. These activities are designed to connect the network’s storytelling with local customs and festive practices.
Over the course of the month, Love Utsav will extend to multiple cities across Gujarat through localized events and experiences, eventually leading up to a Valentine’s Week conclusion. With this initiative, Star Plus seeks to engage audiences by combining its television narratives with cultural celebrations, encouraging conversations around different expressions of love in everyday life.
