Talking about Student Of The Year 2 and adapting to the film industry, Ananya Panday said "I started with Student Of The Year, it was all like fun and games, and we were going for a picnic and like oh we made a movie and everything. SOTY 2 was like an experience of being in film school, I learnt everything about camera facing there. I didn't even know you take multiple takes."

The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress further added, "Tiger would move me between a shot so I would get the light. So for me, all my filming experiences have taught me and I don't think anything teaches you better than being on a set. When I used to watch films on TV, I used to think they were happening live. And then I'd switch the channel and be like they are here also? But they were just there. So for me, movies were just magic."
