Ahead of the massive release, Sooryavanshi trailer made it's way to the internet amid huge fanfare. Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty received support from Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh who reprise their roles as Singham and Simmba in Sooryavanshi.
Since we don't see multi-starrer or two-hero films in the industry enough, Akshay Kumar recently said that it doesn't bother him that film had two other lead actors too who appear during the climax. He said that the more, the merrier. He said that it's a pity that unlike Hollywood, the industry doesn't do two-hero or multistarrers anymore. Akshay said that it was great shooting with them. He said that he and Ajay go way back and have done many films together in the 90s. Speaking of Ranveer, Akshay said that he shares a great rapport with him on and off-screen.
Speaking of Rohit Shetty, his mass appeal continues to shatter box office records. Akshay said that his filming style is over the top but it's also massy. He said that Rohit is aware of the pulse of the audience and what actually works with them. He quipped that it was all fun hanging from a helicopter to blowing up cars since it was within his comfort zone.
Akshay said that the main idea of a film is for entertainment but if a message is directed across in the most entertaining way, he absolutely loves it. He said that he was happy to collaborate with master director Rohit Shetty after having watched Singham and Simmba previously.
Reliance Entertainment presents Rohit Shetty Picturez in association with Dharma Productions & Cape of Good Films, Sooryavanshi is directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is set to release on 24th March 2020, evening 6pm onward.
