Sonu Sood is one of the rare celebrities who is not just appreciated for his work but also his social work. The Yuva actor became a national hero ever since his noble tasks during the 2020 lockdown in India imposed due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sonu has been felicitated for his social work by quite a few organizations. And now, it’s the time of the Indian Army to take note of his deeds and hail him as a hero in a gigantic manner.

Three members of the Indian Army carried out a sweet gesture for the actor by inscribing the words “Real Hero Sonu Sood” on snow in a Himalayan region. They shared the pictures with the actor himself. Sonu, obviously, was moved by their gesture and found it worthy to display it with the world through his Instagram profile.

Sonu shared the pictures and wrote, “Somewhere in Himalayas. These pictures made my day. Humbled. My Inspiration…Indian Army???????? #indianarmy #himalayas.”

For those not in the know, a large number of migrant workers were left stranded after the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in India in 2020 and the subsequent lockdown imposed by the government. The workers and labourers, who were out of work because of the pandemic, had no resources to go back to their native places. During this time, Sonu came up to their rescue and made free arrangements for their safe journey to their respective native places. His social work is not limited to this though.

As far as his work in films is concerned, Sonu’s last Hindi film was the historical Samrat Prithviraj, which starred Akshay Kumar in the titular role. He will next be seen in the action triller Fateh.
