Sonu Sood calls Fateh ‘a tribute to the young cybercrime victims’ : Bollywood News

Apart from playing the lead, Sonu Sood has also stepped into the role of director for his upcoming film, Fateh. All set to release this year the movie takes a close look at cyber crimes happening around the country today. Based on real-life incidents, the film aims to entertain while also shedding light on cyber threats in the digital age and how it can be averted with simple security measures.

Sonu Sood calls Fateh ‘a tribute to the young cybercrime victims’

Sonu Sood, who has been ambitious about this upcoming entertainer, took to his social media account to share BTS photos from the sets of Fateh and also penned a note talking about the subject the film will be dealing with in his recent post. He wrote, “Fateh has been special and a personal film to me. It is a tribute to the youth who have been a victim of cyber crime on various levels. Get Ready??” He concluded it a white heart emoji. For Sood, who has directed, produced and acted in this venture, Fateh has been more than a film. We hear that the actor has gone beyond and put in immense amount of attention and efforts in the project – from venturing into unique shooting locations to collaborating with Hollywood stunt coordinator Lee Whittaker for international level of action sequences.

We hear that the actor also has done extensive research which includes speaking to several fans and followers as a part of his research to understand their experiences. Sources reveal that Sonu Sood was keen on making the film as a heartfelt tribute to cybercrime victims outside of the world of traditional filmmaking.

Fateh is co-produced by Zee Studios and his production company, Shakti Sagar Productions, and along with Sood, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandez in a pivotal role.
