For any dedicated fan girl or boy, it would be a total meltdown moment when their fave celeb will be present in the same premise as them. However, there's a difference between freaking out and asking politely for a selfie. While netizens were still arguing, when a fan breached security and jumped on Ranbir Kapoor, and when a female fan tried to kiss Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonu Nigam was also attacked by a fan. It all happened during his concert on Monday night in Mumbai’s Chembur. Now, Sonu’s contemporaries, Shaan and Mika Singh have condemned the incident.

Speaking of Shaan, he took to his verified social media handle and shared the official statement of Indian Singers’ Rights Association. Meanwhile, in the caption, he wrote, “I’m am appalled and disgusted at what has happened .. and in Mumbai ?!? A city that is known for its law and order, and safety. / As a fellow artist, a fan, as part of fraternity I expect some action to be taken by the Authorities against the miscreants responsible for this rowdy misconduct and violence.”

Meanwhile, Mika Singh took to his verified Twitter handle and termed it a ‘very sad’ episode. In his tweet, he said, “Whenever I’m doing shows in the Northern part of India I always have min 10 bodyguards with me but in Mumbai I don’t have bodyguards with me because this is the most beautiful and safest city of India.”

For the unversed, Swapnil Phaterpekar, who is the son of a local MLA, got into a scuffle with Sonu's guards when he tried to forcefully click a selfie with the singer. The accused has been booked by the Mumbai Police after the singer lodged an official complaint.
