Sonam captioned her post, "The most dapper date...I married a perfect gentleman." The actor wore a saree, silk blouse, and an embroidered waistcoat for the photoshoot. The ensemble is from the shelves of designer Ritu Kumar's eponymous label. It is the perfect sartorial pick for the wedding season in winter. You can uniquely layer the drape like Sonam did and be the star of the party. Sonam's Ritu Kumar saree comes in a mustard shade decked with gold kadhai, green patti borders, sequin embellishments, and a heavily embroidered border. Instead of draping the pallu of her six yards on the shoulder, the actor pleated and tucked it on her waist to give the illusion of a figure-hugging skirt.

Sonam accessorised the saree with a silk blouse that featured a loose fit, a round neckline, billowy full-length sleeves, ruched cuffs, and a waist-length hem, all embellished with designs in tones of rust brown and green. She paired it with a black velvet waistcoat adorned with embroidery in shades of red and gold brocade.
