Sonam Bajwa has been making waves in the industry with her remarkable performances. With her upcoming film Carry On Jatta 3 on the horizon, fans are eagerly awaiting her on-screen magic once again. However, amidst the excitement, a recent revelation has left her fans shocked. In a recent interview, Sonam Bajwa revealed that she had signed a three-film deal with a prominent Bollywood production banner. However, just six days before the scheduled shoot for her first film under the banner, she had been fired from the project.

During a conversation with Film Companion, Bajwa was asked if she still actively auditions for Bollywood projects and aspires to enter the Hindi film industry. In her response, she asserted, “It doesn’t upset me if I don’t make it in an audition now. But earlier, if I see my journey six seven years ago, it did hurt me, like, ‘Why am I not doing a film here, or why did someone say no to me six days before a film?'”

The Punjabi film actress further added, “I signed a three-film deal with a very big production house, I did proper workshops, I learnt some skills for the film. But six days before, they said that the director feels extremely nervous because it was his first time and you’re very quiet. But now, when I look back, I’m like, ‘Wow, God really saved me’. It was a blessing in disguise. It didn’t work out.”

Reflecting on her past, the 33-year-old actress admitted that she may not have been mentally prepared to handle the pressure of Bollywood in the past. After completing a decade in the industry, she has now reached a stage where she can selectively choose projects in Punjabi. While she remains open to Bollywood opportunities, Sonam clarified that she doesn't actively seek roles through networking.

Coming back to Carry On Jatta 3, the ensemble star cast of the film also features Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, Kavita Kaushik, Shinda Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Harby Sangha, and Jaswinder Bhalla. The Smeep Kang-directed flick will be released on June 29.
